Which stays longer gel or liquid liner?

My current pencil eyeliner (GOSH Velvet Touch) smudges after a while as I have quite oily eyelids. Preferably I need it to stay for about 8 hours. I've tried Bourjois Liner Feutre and Avon Supershock and they lasted a bit longer but still smeared all over my eyelids by the end of school. I can't really afford more than �6-�7. Thanks :)
